the WLA Children and Young Adult Services Interest Group (CAYAS)

CAYAS welcomes David Brostrom, author of A Guide to Homeschooling for Librarians. As the number of homeschoolers grows, public librarians find themselves trying to meet their needs. David Brostrom will help with identifying homeschoolers and how to link up with them. He also will address the following questions: What time-tested programs and services can I offer home educators? What are some excellent homeschooling resources? What about online home education? What can I expect in the future?

Mr. Brostrom is the Supervisor of Adult Services and Administration at the Waukesha Public Library in Wisconsin. He has been a speaker at numerous state and regional conferences, including PNLA.
