Join us for a cruise on the river at the OLA/WLA 2002 Conference! The Portland Spirit riverboat will pick us up at 6:30 PM at the dock of the Doubletree Jantzen Beach Hotel on the last night of the OLA/WLA 2002 Conference. The entire riverboat has been reserved just for the conference participants and their guests, so you know it will be a great group to party with!
Our riverboat dining experience will include fresh Northwest cuisine (salmon or chicken) prepared in the on-board galley, superb service, and beautiful views of Portland's downtown skyline. Live entertainment will be provided by Jim Shore on the piano. Many of you will remember Jim's piano virtuosity from the 2000 Public Library Association Conference. Boarding will begin at 6:30 and the boat will leave the dock at 7:00 PM. Meet in the Multnomah Room on the lower level of the Doubletree Jantzen Beach Hotel prior to boarding the boat and we will go to the dock from there. We will return at 9:30 PM. Cost: $69.00 per person.

If you haven't yet registered for the conference, mark the Friday evening meal on the OLA/WLA 2002 Conference Registration Form and choose either salmon or chicken. If you will not be registering for the conference, fill out the "Meals Only" Registration Form and mail it to the address on the form. If you have already registered for the conference, and but didn't sign up for the cruise, fill out a "Meals Only" Form and write "already registered" on it before mailing. |
