or Kandi Turk (kturk@sno-isle.org) WALT Scholarship Application InformationGeneral Information WALT is running a pilot project to provide scholarships to members of WALT who want to attend a CE Event or Conference. Members must apply for the scholarships between now and the next WLA Conference (April 2007) WALT will award 5 scholarships of $300.00 each. Applicants will have to show how the CE or training event applies to their jobs. Members who attend an event using a WALT scholarship will be required to report to the general membership at the next WALT meeting (in person or via a written report). If appropriate, scholarship recipients could hold training sessions or do presentations for WALT members to share what they learned from attending the event. WALT members must apply 30 days before the event they want to attend by filling out an application form, and will be reimbursed after attending the event and submitting a claim form.
