- Sharon Carlsen,
Organizational Development, Group Facilitation and Coaching
Office: 206.528.0356
Cell: 206.979.1844
Email: S4Carlsen@aol.comI have served as both individual
coach and team consultant, working in branch libraries to facilitate
team building, improve communications, and assist library managers
facing leadership and supervisory challenges. As a team coach,
I have been asked to intervene in difficult situations (sudden
resignations or terminations, behavioral problems, transitions,
etc.). I usually prepare a written internal assessment (after
talking confidentially with everyone involved), recommend steps to
address the issues, and then work with the team as a whole to
prioritize and implement recommendations. This often involves
individual coaching and team follow-up to monitor progress and to
deal with new issues that may arise.
