Getting Involved
Washington State Legislature's Home PageThe Washington State Legislature's Home Page provides access to legislative information found in bills (all versions, including session laws), amendments, bill reports, bill digests (including veto messages), bill histories, sponsor reports, House and Senate rosters, roll calls on bills, legislative and committee schedules, the Revised Code of Washington (RCW), the Washington Administrative Code (WAC), the State Register, the Washington State Constitution, advisory opinions of the Legislative Ethics Committee, and online informational files. Information is updated once daily during the Session. How to Read BillsEach bill is prefaced with its brief title, a listing of statutes being amended and/or deleted, and other related information. Like most legislatures, Washington's indicates the effect the bill has on the current statutes by marking text to be deleted with strike through and new text with underlines. Entirely new language is preceded by the words. |
