Promoting library services, advocacy and continuing education for the people of Washington State.
Continuing Education Council

WLA's Continuing Education Council has seed money available for continuing education projects and endeavors of all kinds. Programs sponsored in the past have included specialized or local conferences, full- and half-day workshops, and printing of materials to be distributed statewide. Planners and sponsors must follow WLA guidelines for continuing education programs, and must apply within the grant application framework. See the Workshop on Workshops Manual (pdf) for guidelines and forms. Workshops and projects are expected to be self-supporting, with the funds reimbursed to the WLA general fund.

You may print a copy or submit an online form of the grant application, or contact the WLA Office to request a copy to be mailed to you. Applications may be mailed or faxed to Gail Willis, WLA, 4016 1st NE, Seattle, WA 98105 (Fax 206-545-1543). Questions about grants may be directed to the Coordinator of Continuing Education.
