The WLA School Library Division (previously known as the Washington Library Media Association) provides networking opportunities and professional support for teacher-librarians and library paraprofessionals, administrators, teachers and parents. Together we work to ensure that Washington's students are effective users and producers of ideas and information by providing:

  • support for information and technology literacy instruction
  • reading advocacy for lifelong learning and enrichment
  • equitable access to information resources and services
